LAP BY LAP Versus FINAL RESULTS Disclaimer - Racers: for a zillion reason such as dnf's, track rerouting, cheaters, lost riders, barcode scan failure, and many more, the NCHSA Score Keeper's must alter lap times in order to get the Final Results correct. If your Final Results are correct, do not contact the NCHSA claiming you were in 3rd place on lap 4, and the computer says you were 7th. It simply does not matter. It is your responsibility to make sure your results were correct at the end of each race day before you leave. Should you still beleive there is an error that must be corrected, you must cotact an NCHSA board member. Click Here To Jump To The Contact Us Page, or simply see an official at the next race.

George Yount rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Von Starnes on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to thirty six seconds over Joseph Hoyle. Bret Akers fell to third place, but held a lead of sixteen seconds over Bill Somerville running forth. George Yount still chased in fifth place by two seconds.
