LAP BY LAP Versus FINAL RESULTS Disclaimer - Racers: for a zillion reason such as dnf's, track rerouting, cheaters, lost riders, barcode scan failure, and many more, the NCHSA Score Keeper's must alter lap times in order to get the Final Results correct. If your Final Results are correct, do not contact the NCHSA claiming you were in 3rd place on lap 4, and the computer says you were 7th. It simply does not matter. It is your responsibility to make sure your results were correct at the end of each race day before you leave. Should you still beleive there is an error that must be corrected, you must cotact an NCHSA board member. Click Here To Jump To The Contact Us Page, or simply see an official at the next race.

Round 14: Little Dover - Taylorsville, NC

Price: FREE

The VET-A class had eight riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Mike Kowalsky take control of the race, leading Kevin Pearson by six seconds. Eddie Monk came through in third place, thirty eight seconds ahead of fourth place rider Chad Perry. Marc Hilton rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had second place rider Eddie Monk closing the gap on Mike Kowalsky to two seconds. Kevin Pearson fell to third place, but held a lead of one minute twelve seconds over Chad Perry running forth. Marc Hilton still chased in fifth place by three seconds. Lap three had race leader Mike Kowalsky continue to hold two seconds over Kevin Pearson. Eddie Monk backed up to third place, still keeping Marc Hilton at bay in forth by one minute twenty nine seconds. Chad Perry slumped to fifth place by two seconds. On lap four Kevin Pearson grabbed the lead, and gapped four seconds over Eddie Monk. Mike Kowalsky slowed to third place, now having to protect the position from fourth place racer Marc Hilton. Chad Perry managed to stay in fifth place by two seconds. Lap five ended with Eddie Monk taking over the lead, and rocked on with a four seconds lead over Kevin Pearson. Mike Kowalsky held onto third place one minute thirty nine seconds over Chad Perry. Life seemed good for John Chambers pulling into the top five. Six laps in and Eddie Monk stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to eight seconds, messing with the mind of Kevin Pearson. Mike Kowalsky must like third place, and still holds an advantage of twenty seconds over John Chambers. Chad Perry might be getting tired, and has dropped to fifth place by thirty four seconds. In the end it was an awesome race with three different leaders battling to the end, but it was Eddie Monk who claimed victory, over the hard chargings of Kevin Pearson, Mike Kowalsky, John Chambers, and Chad Perry.
