LAP BY LAP Versus FINAL RESULTS Disclaimer - Racers: for a zillion reason such as dnf's, track rerouting, cheaters, lost riders, barcode scan failure, and many more, the NCHSA Score Keeper's must alter lap times in order to get the Final Results correct. If your Final Results are correct, do not contact the NCHSA claiming you were in 3rd place on lap 4, and the computer says you were 7th. It simply does not matter. It is your responsibility to make sure your results were correct at the end of each race day before you leave. Should you still beleive there is an error that must be corrected, you must cotact an NCHSA board member. Click Here To Jump To The Contact Us Page, or simply see an official at the next race.

Round 3: Flat Rock - Taylorsville, NC

Price: FREE

The 250-B class had twelve riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Coty Ingram take control of the race, leading Christophe Belanger by seven seconds. Caleb Young came through in third place, twenty one seconds ahead of fourth place rider Ryan Gundrum. Corey Presnell rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Shorty Price took over the lead, and pulled four minutes eleven seconds over Coty Ingram. Christophe Belanger fell to third place, but held a lead of thirty three seconds over Caleb Young running forth. Corey Presnell still chased in fifth place by thirty seconds. On lap three Coty Ingram took over the lead, and pulled one minute thirty nine seconds over Christophe Belanger. Wyatt Farlow rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Corey Presnell at bay by twenty four seconds. Ryan Gundrum climbed into fifth place, and following by one minute fifty seven seconds. On lap four Coty Ingram cranked it up, and increased the lead to two minutes twenty three seconds over Wyatt Farlow. Christophe Belanger slowed to third place, now having to protect the position from fourth place racer Corey Presnell. Caleb Young picked it up into fifth place, following by two minutes fifty six seconds. Lap five ended with Coty Ingram picking up the pace, increasing the lead to three minutes twenty one seconds over Corey Presnell. Christophe Belanger held onto third place two minutes forty six seconds over Caleb Young. Life seemed good for Douglas Cooksey pulling into the top five. Six laps in and Coty Ingram stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to four minutes fifty one seconds, messing with the mind of Corey Presnell. Christophe Belanger must like third place, and still holds an advantage of two minutes thirty seven seconds over Douglas Cooksey. Caleb Young might be getting tired, and has dropped to fifth place by thirty five seconds. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Coty Ingram taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Corey Presnell, Christophe Belanger, Douglas Cooksey, and Caleb Young.
